They include translations of the holy book into the Swedish language, Ibrahim said during a virtual meeting with President of Turkey Recep Yassip Erdogan on Saturday night.

Further elaborating, he stated that 15,000 copies of the Quran would be translated into Swedish, the language of the country associated with the recent incidents of Quran burning.

"I firmly state the stance of the unity government, which rejects all forms of violence and will not compromise with any party involved in such matters in our country.

"I also take this opportunity to inform President Erdogan about Malaysia's efforts to combat Islamophobia, specifically addressing the burning of the Quran in Sweden.

"I strongly condemn this act, which hides behind the freedom of expression upheld by the West," he expressed during the meeting session.

Joining the Prime Minister in the virtual meeting was the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir.

At the end of June, a man from Iraq set fire to the Quran outside a mosque in Stockholm, Sweden.

In connection with this, the Turkish government condemned the decision of the Swedish authorities to allow the demonstration of Quran burning outside the mosque in Stockholm, just before the celebration of Hari Raya Aidiladha.
